Mosuru Kudike celebrations- Tablos and cultural programs drew attention

Mangalore, August 19: On Monday, August 18th; the Mosuru Kudike festival which is celebrated on the very next day of Shree Krishna Janmashthami was celebrated with joyfully at different regions of Dakshina Kannada District.

The Idol of Lord Shree Krishna was carried on a procession which was followed by the tablos, dancing dolls, various disguises, breaking the pots filled with curds hung at a height and various cultural programs which added colour to the celebration.

Mosuru Kudike was celebrated at important areas of Mangalore city such as Attavara, Kadri, Urva Store, Urva, Sanghanikethan of GandhiNagar, Thokkotu, Asaigoli and other places which was organised by various associations comprising the procession, cultural programs, breaking the curd pots etc which were celebrated with great pomp.

Mosaru Kudike was celebrated even at Moodbidre, B.C. Road, Kalladka, Suratkal, Mulki, Punarur, Vitla, Puttur and other areas along with the procession and cultural activities, colourfully.

All over the district, Monday was a Sunny day; but by evening it started to rain a little and those who were eager to participate in the program were disappointed. But after 8pm in the evening, the rain had given a break and the public participated in the program joyfully.
