Bajpe, August 18: On August 17th Sunday morning, a bike rider was critically injured in an accident which occurred close to Ganjimath- Sooralpady near Kaikamba. As per the report, the accident took place between the bike moving towards Konaje which was hit by a Ritz Car which came from the opposite direction.
It is learnt that the car driver who was moving towards Ganjimath was in a high speed. As the driver lost his control, he first hit the Hero Hunk and then broke a barricade located at the spot. Vishwas hailing from Pavoor was riding the bike and his friend Hari Prasad was riding pillion. They were returning after visiting a relative’s house at Kaikamba.
Witnesses revealed that the rider was thrown off the road and the bike was completely mangled. Vishwas, is said to be in critical state and has been shifted to a private hospital in Mangalore.
Bajpe cops have visited the spot and investigated the accident.
