Mangalore, August 12: A protest will be held on August 13th by the auto rickshaw drivers; forcing to conduct a detailed investigation on the murder case of a young rickshaw driver, Mohammad Rifayi on August 10th.
The autorickshaw drivers are demanding to provide them security and a compensation of Rs 5lakhs towards Rifayi’s family.
Begining with a protest rally from Pumpwell, a meeting will be held in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office at 11am.
Mohammad Rifayi (25), is suspected to be murdered at night on August 9th , Saturday. He was a resident of Maripalla. Sources revealed that Rifayi was killed to retaliate the murder of Naushad (27) on June 21st near a mosque at Maripalla.
