Mangalore, Aug 08: Police arrested a man on charges of movie piracy of Tulu movie ‘Rang’ on Friday, August 8. The arrested has been identified as Sharan from Kulashekar.
Sharan was caught red handed while he was videographing the movie at PVR cinema theatre. A person who was sitting next to Sharan noticed this and reported it to the PVR authorities.
Sharan was later taken by the Police. A bag containing DVDs, book with names of blogs and electronic cables were seized.
A complaint has been filed in Pandeshwar Station.
The attempt to piracy was done on the movie’s first day itself. It was released on Friday, August 8.
