Mangalore, July 26: St. Aloysius College organised “Aati Ayano” programme on Saturday, July 26, under the joint venture of the Tulu Koota and Kannada Sangha of the college. The programme highlighted the significance of the month of Aati in Tulunad.
Chief guests of the occasion gave talks on the significance of the month of Aati and the food practices during the month along with an interactive session.
The guests for the function were welcomed in a traditional way by presenting betel leaf with arecanut.
An artiste in the costume of the Ati Kalanja was the added attraction of the event.
