Mangalore: Tulu Koota, Kudla will be organising a symposium named “Tulu Tulipu” on Sunday, July 27 at Ravindra Kala Bhavan of Mangalore University, Hampankatta at 3:00 pm.
Addressing a press meet on Thursday, July 24, Damodar Nisarga, president of Tulu Koota said, “The symposium focuses on including Tulu language in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Popular research scholars in Tulu language will present papers covering major aspects of the language in Tulu Tulipu.”
“The programme will be inaugurated by M Janaki Brahmavar, president, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy. Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishad will be the chief guest. Dr Ganesh Amin will deliver the key note address on the occasion,” he informed.
