Mangalore, July 24: Robber enters into the Milagres Our Lady of Miracles Church office at 10.20 pm on Wednesday July 23 and flees after collecting cash amounting to around Rs 1.5 lac from the three cash boxes found inside.
CCTV footages showed that the stranger, who had covered his face with cloth, entered the church premises from the backside. It is being guessed that he would have approached the building from the direction of the graveyard there. He cut through the window rods of the office and forced himself in.
The theft came to light when the concerned opened the premises on Thursday July 23 morning. It was discovered that the thief had left behind a key.
Finger print experts visited the spot and a case has been registered at Pandeshwar police station.
