With a view to enhancing the customer convenience, the ‘Corp Excel’ branch has been aesthetically designed with the layouts demarcated between customer facing & operations work. The “24×7 e-Lobby” has self-service automation kiosks which include Cash Deposit Machine, Cheque Deposit Machine, Self-service Passbook printer and an ATM. The machines are user-friendly and can be used at ease by the customers. The layout of the branch also includes a convenient and simplified Queue Management System and sufficient customer waiting area.
The ‘Corp Excel’ branches have been rolled out by the Bank at various centres under ‘Project Sankalp’ – the Business Process Re-engineering exercise of the Bank. Corporation Bank has so far opened 16 ‘Corp Excel’ branches having ‘e-Lobby’ facility across the country and plans to open 200 branches with the said facility by December 2015.
Overall, the Bank has a wide network of over 9,000 centres across the country, including 2061 branches, 2599 ATMs and 4349 branchless banking units. The Bank has surpassed a total business figure of Rs. 3.30 lakh Crore and entered the league of big banks.
As always, keeping customer convenience and customer delight as guiding factors, the Bank has recently introduced a few customer-friendly products to meet the aspirations of GenNext and other segments –
- e-Passbook: The digital Passbook facility on Mobile Phone provided to Internet Banking registered users. Corp e-Passbook is a digital/virtual passbook solution resembling physical passbook. It allows the customers to download, view and to take print-out of the transactions in the account(s). A virtual Mobile Passbook in the Pocket.
- Corp Saral Plus : A simple Savings Bank Account with no minimum balance stipulation, with all facilities PLUS free Personal Accident Insurance Cover of Rs. 5.00 lakh, for a nominal fee. Plus interest as applicable to Savings Bank Account.
- Corp Signature: A Premium Savings Bank Account for the discerning connoisseurs. Attractive features include free Personalised Signature Debit Card with a cash withdrawal limit of Rs.1 lakh and WITH A LIMIT UP TO Rs.5.00 lakh at the merchant establishments – to facilitate BIG DEALS FOR BIG HEARTS. Plus free Accident Insurance Cover of Rs.10.00 lakh. And, an exclusive Relationship Manager as a single point of contact.
