Mangalore, July 18: District administration accorded a warm welcome to President of India Pranab Mukherjee on Friday July 18 at Mangalore International Airport. The President arrived at the airport by a special flight.
B Ramanath Rai, Minister for forest environment and ecology, Mangalore Mayor Mahabala Maarla, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim and Police Commissioner R Hitendra were present on the occasion, they bestowed a warm welcome to the president.
Mukherjee will be attending the first convocation of the Central University of Kerala at Periya, Kasaragod and will also inaugurate the platinum jubilee celebrations of the College of Engineering in Thiruvananthapuram.
