Mangalore, July 15: Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza laid the foundation stone for the new building of Milagres Degree College on Tuesday, July 15.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone and blessing the occasion, Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza said, “Today is a great day for Milagres people, especially to those who are pursuing and had pursued their education in Milagres Institutions.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 10 crore and it is proposed to be completed within 15 months.
Fr Valerian D’Souza, parish priest of Milagres and the administrator of Milagres Institutions, Fr Francis Xavier Gomes, principal and campus in charge, Fr G W Vas, Fr Sunil, Fr Santosh, corporators Vinayraj A C and Ranganath Kini, Milagres Church vice-president Ivan D’Souza, Praveen Saldanha of Saldanha Associates, John Monteiro, Rachana president, Savil Mascarenhas, members of parish council, alumni and others were present.
