Mangalore, July 7: A person from Ganjimutt died on the spot when he lost control over his vehicle and fell on the road, in his bid to avoid hitting a cow at Malali Cross, Kukkatte, Ganjimutt on July 5, Saturday night.
Bhasker Alva (34) is the deceased person, he worked as a cargo loader at Mangalore Airport. He was a resident of Bajpe and was on his way home when the mishap took place.
Since the road was abandoned, the accident came to the notice of the locals only on July 6, Sunday morning.
Bajpe police have registered a case.
