Mangalore : The officers of Customs at Mangalore International Airport Seized 1200 Indian Currency Notes Of Rs 500/- Denomination, Totally Valued at Rs 6,oo,ooo/- (Rupees Six Lakhs only)  possessed Illicitly and in excess of permissible limits, from a passenger , Abdul Salam Badoor Muhammed, Who conceled the same inside the walls of cartoon box which was taken as checked-in-baggage. Abdul Salam Badoor Muhammed, aged about 33 years, S/o Ahmed, is a resident of Badoor House, 10/823, Chattanchal, P.O.Thekkil, Kasaragod, Pin – 671541, Kerala, Who was about to depart from Mangalore International Airport on 20.06.2014 at about 0125 hrs by Air India Express Flight No..IX823 to Sharjah. The  above operation was conducted under the supervision of Pravin Vinod Assistant Commisissioner of Customs, Mangalore Inaternational Airport.

Further Investigation is under progress, under  the guidance of D.Purushotham, Cpmmissioner Of Customs, Mnagalore.
