‘Monster Trike’, an invention of MIT students to comfort physically challenged

Mangalore, May 28: Final year students of MIT Manipal have come up with a three wheeler vehicle named as Monster Trike, which would comfort the physically challenged in travelling.

An engine of 1000CC, three wheeler vehicle and automatic engine are the three features in this vehicle, which differentiates it from other vehicles. It is unique and convenient to physically challenged, say the students who have worked on this.

Monster Trike is a project of final year students of MIT namely, Soyab Abdul, Prakyat Raj, Apoorv and Satyam.

The students informed that the project costed them up to 3 lakhs, but in mass production the cost could be reduced. The vehicle can speed up to 150 kmph and produces a mileage of 20 kmpl.
