Mangalore, May 27: The five accused in the case of Bollor Varun a.k.a. Sanjay murder case have been taken to custody by the police. Police have informed that Vijay Kumar, one of the person involved in Home stay issue was amongst five arrested.
On July 27, 2012, there was an attack on Morning Mist home stay at Padil by the members of Hindu Jagaran Vedike. Youngsters were celebrating birthday and the HJV members had manhandled them. Investigations have revealed that the person celebrating his birthday was none other than Vijay Kumar himself. The guy with his famous dialogue, “haakodchi anna, birthday enna” is now behind the bars in Urwa Police station.
Vijay Kumar was at large since the occurrence of the murder, but through investigation it was known that Vijay had assisted the other four accused in the murder.
Ashrit (19), Abhilash (22), Karthik (20) and Vikas (20) are the four members along with Vijay had surrendered themselves to the court and are now in police custody.
More details are yet to be revealed. Police are conducting further investigation.
