Kundapur, May 13: Yadthare Revenue Department office was raided by Lokayukta officials and they have taken Santhosh Kumar, Revenue officer into custody for taking bribe from a person named Chakko.
The officer had demanded a bribe of Rupees 12 thousand for the changing of land RTC. The raid was conducted at around 2.30 pm. Santhosh is being interrogated by the officials.
Lokayukta Udupi DYSP Umesh G. Shetty, Lokayukta Inspector, Mohan Kottari, Nagesh Udupa, Shidar G., Riyaz Ahemad, Ashok, Raghuram and Satyavati had participated in the operation.
