Kundapur, May 12: An underpass was constructed for the ease of pedestrians near the Kota Bus stop. But the underpass was also being used by two wheelers, auto rickshaws and cars which led to accidents regularly. The vehicle movement in this underpass was also creating problem to other vehicles moving from Udupi to Kundapur.
The localities of kota lodged a complaint about the issue to the Kota police station. Now the underpass is being blocked by an iron gate and vehicle movement is prohibited.
