Kundapur, May 09: The citizens of Kumbasi staged a protest against the unscientifically constructed National Highway near Kumbasi bus stand which is crammed with loose mud. The protest was held on today morning and the localities also demanded the rectification of this construction.
The old road and new roads are not properly linked, this is causing great trouble to the commuters. The area is also facing problems related to drainage facility. The protesters have demanded to solve all these issues.
ZP Health committee President Ganapati T. Shriyan, Kumbassi VP member Mahabaleshwara Acharya, K. Kamalaksha Pai, Vittal Shetty, Anantha Krishna Upadyaya and others were present.
