Kundapur, May 08: The Karwar district and sessions court has granted bail to Manish Chaudhuree(24) and Pankaj Sharma(21) of Uttar Pradesh who had broken into Ullas Netalakkar’s house in Karwar and fired bullets from their pistols on November 14th 2013.
In the encounter Netalakkar and his wife were injured. The two accused had come to Karwar from Goa in a Swift car and fired rounds from their pistols. They then escaped to Agra. Karwar police arrested both of them.
Karwar session judge D.R. Renake studied application of bail and then granted so. Kundapur advocate Ravikiran Murdeshwar argued on behalf of the accused.
