Mangalore, May 8: Second PUC exam results were announced on May 8 and Dakshina Kannada district has topped the state while the neighboring Udupi District has won the second place.
DK district has secured a pass percentage of 86.04 and Udupi has a pass percentage of 85.57. The results were announced by State Education Minister Kimmane Ratnaker.
As usual girls have fared better than boys. The state wide pass percentage is 60.47.
The pass percentage is high in rural areas and stands at 60.47 per cent while the percentage of pass in urban areas is 60.15 per cent.
