Mangalore, Apr 24: A total of five women and a child were injured, as the a mini bus collided into a college bus near Mangalajyoti, Vamanjoor on April 24, Thursday evening.
It is learnt that the mini bus plying towards Thokkottu, carrying a wedding party, mostly a women and children collides with a college bus belonging to Srinivas Institute of Technology moving towards Vamanjoor at a turning.
According to the eyewitnesses, the driver of the mini bus has been identified as Haneef of Ranipura was taking the bus on the wrong side of the road.
The injured have been shifted to AJ Hospital. During the incident, an auto rickshaw which rammed into the mini bus from the rear end and was also damaged.
Mangalore rural police arrived at the spot. The traffic was stranded for some time due to the accident.
