Yasin Bhatkal carried out terror attacks at Jama Masjid in 2010 opposing Mini-skirts

New Delhi, April 24: The Delhi Police revealed that Foreigners who wore mini-skirts and entered Jama Masjid located at Central Delhi had informed Indian Mujahideen (IM) co-founder Yasin Bhatkal and his associates to plan conspiracy for terror attack and to commit terror strike and to commit terror strike at the historic mosque in September 2010.

According to the Special Cell of Delhi Police, the charge sheet was filed against Bhatkal and his aide Asadullah Akhtar. They also said that the accused who considered the foreigners who wear short clothes is against Islamic; hence they decided a terror strike at gate no-3 of the mosque.

Police also said that the attack carried out by Yasin at gate no.3 of the Jama Masjid was suitable for shootout since foreigners have been visiting there wearing of miniskirts.

Both Bhatkal and Akhtar were charge sheeted in connection with the 2010 Jama Masjid fire attack case in September 19, 2010, in which two Taiwanese tourists namely Ku-Ze-Wei and Ko-chiange sustained bullet injuries.
