Mangalore: Smt. Sumitra Bansal, President of “Corp-Kiran”, an association of wives of senior executives of the Bank and women employees, today distributed back-packs and school bags to the students of Kamla Shishu Vihar School, Patliputra, nd Patna. Corporation Bank, a leading public sector bank had formed Corp-Kiran for carrying out such CSR activities.
Various amenities are provided to the under privileged and downtrodden members of the society under the auspices of ‘Corp-Kiran’. This activity was conducted at Patna during the maiden visit of Smt Sumitra Bansal to the city.
The program was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp. The students welcomed the chief guest by rendering a prayer song. All the 150 students who were beneficiaries belonged to BPL families.
The School Principal, Teachers and Office Bearers of the Corporation Bank Welfare Association were present on the occasion. Addressing the underprivileged students with her motivational talk Smt. Sumitra Bansal inspired them to complete their studies and to go for higher studies. Mrs. Deepmala Lakra (Vice-President) proposed the vote of thanks.
