Mangalore, April 12: AAM AADMI Party Dakshina Kannada will organise an evening with Shri Yogendra Yadav at Mangalore Town Hall on Sunday 13th, from 4:30PM to 8:30PM. It has also scheduled a Padyatra on Saturday April 12th, 5:00PM starting at Pump Well, proceeding to Kankanady, Balmatta, Jyothi, Happankatta, ending at the DC Office.
The event will include cultural programs promoting National Integration. It will commence with a musical recital followed by an address by Shri Yogendra Yadav at 5:30 PM. M R Vasudeva will address the gathering at 6:30PM after which the audience will be entertained by a variety of cultural performances.
Yogendra Yadav is an Indian academic whose primary interests are in the political and social sciences. He has been a Senior Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi since 2004. He is a former member of University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Advisory Council (NAC) on Right to Education Act (RTE) appointed by United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government. He is a candidate for the Aam Aadmi Party in the 2014 Indian general election.
