Bantwal police arrests three accused of Auto driver Rajesh murder case

Bantwal, April 2: The Bantwal police have arrested three accused in connection with case of autorickshaw driver Rajesh at Kalpane near BC Road. They have also recovered a bike and two machetes from the trio.

The arrested are Hussain, Irshad and Imran from Demmale in Mallur. Further the search for two prime accused in the case namely Isaac and Altaf is on.

The police, who had arrested Hussain, was successful in revealing the information of other accused involved in the murder and arrested two others.

The arrested Hussain and Imran have been remanded to judicial custody, while Irshad is in police custody.

It is learnt that, Rajesh was earlier arrested on charges of the murder of Iqbal at Goremar rubber estate in Pachinadka in 2008 was later acquitted by court and this murder was the act of vengeance.

The team of officials led by Belthangady Circle Inspector Lingappa Poojary formed by SP Dr Sharanappa arrested the accused.
