Mangalore, Mar 31: Two persons killed in an accident, injuring other two, when an Eicher goods vehicle carrying plywood sheets toppled over them while they were waiting at a bus stop near Kudremukh gate at Panambur on March 31, Monday.
Reportedly, one woman and a man were killed on the spot, while the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The incident occurred when speeding goods tempo bearing registration number KL 48 E 6401 moving from Mangalore towards Panambur and lost its control near the bus stop and toppled on the people waiting for bus at bus stop.
The identity of died and injured are not yet known. Panambur police reached the spot and registered a case.
