Karnataka Bank gets two New General Managers

Mangalore: Karnataka Bank has promoted two of its Deputy General Managers, Shri Raghurama and Shri Raghavendra Bhat M, as General Managers.

Shri Raghurama is a Post Graduate in Commerce, a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB) and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management [PGDPM], besides being a graduate in law. He is an alumni of St. Aloysius College, Mangalore and SDM Law College, Mangalore.

He started his career in the Bank in 1978 and has rich experience spanning over three and half decades in various capacities and at various centres, both at operational and administrative level. Upon his elevation to the cadre of Chief Manager in 2001, Shri Raghurama headed the Bank’s Borivali and Fort Branches in Mumbai and was then posted to HO-Credit Department in September 2004. He was elevated to the position of Assistant General Manager in May 2005. Shri Raghurama was promoted as Deputy General Manager in March 2010 and has been heading the Risk Management Department of the Bank since then.

Shri Raghavendra Bhat M, is a Graduate in Commerce and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB). He is an alumni of Milagres College Kalyanpur, Udupi.

He started his career in the Bank in 1981. Over the last 33 years he has served in various cadres both at operational and administrative level, at various locations including metro centres such as Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. He was elevated as a Chief Manager in June 2002 and headed the Bank’s New Delhi – Overseas Branch. In the year 2005, he was promoted as Assistant General Manager and served at HO-Credit Department [Retail Finance] and IT & MIS Department. Shri Bhat was elevated as Deputy General Manager in May 2010 and headed the Bank’s New Delhi Region and also the Data Centre at Bangalore. Currently, he is heading the Bangalore Region of the Bank, since December 2011.
