Mangalore, Mar 25: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam will visit city and will interact with students on electoral participation at the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme scheduled at Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat hall on April 1 at 4.30pm.
In a press release, Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim said that Kalam will interact with first time voters on ethical voting during the programme.
Two students each from more than 100 institutions including degree and professional colleges, will participate in the programme. The students belonging belong to the age group of 18 – 20 years can participate in the event after getting authorization letter from the institute.
