Mangalore, Mar 19: A Bike – Lorry collision on March 19, Wednesday, left the bike rider seriously injured near the Kanachur Mill at Thokkottu on NH 66.
The bike rider hailing from Kumpala was riding with his friend towards Mangalore when the incident took place.
Reportedly, the lorry driver had tried to avoid the accident, but the attempt failed and lorry rammed into the compound wall of Kanachur Mill.
The rider has left with serious injuries on hand and head and said to be critical condition. He was immediately rushed to Fr Muller’s Hospital, Kankanady for treatment. The bike has said to be damaged completely.
