Mangalore: A blood donation camp was organized by the NSS unit of Nitte Blood Bank Unit under the Nitte Social Service Scheme, Deralakatte in association with the Mangalore Havyaka Mandal on Sunday March 16 at the Bharathi College, Nanthoor.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by M Rajendra, Director (F&P), Nitte Education Trust along with Dr Murali Mohan, NSS programme co-ordinator of Nitte University, K Parmeshwara Bhat of Havyaka Mandal, K Balakrishna Bhat and MC Srikrishna.
Dr Murali Mohan said that this initiative is made in turn to generate awareness towards blood donation in the society. He briefed about the importance of Blood Donation and about noble initiative taken by the Nitte University.
Several participants took part in the camp.
