A compound wall at a construction site at Urva collapsed giving a narrow escape for three labourers from Bihar on March 14, Friday afternoon.
The injured labourers are identified as Manju (20), Munna (22) and Raja (22) hailing from Bihar and are admitted to a hospital.
According to the sources, three labourers were clearing the debris, when suddenly the mud compound wall collapsed. Other labourers who saw this immediately rushed to their rescue them from beneath a pile of mud.
It is learnt that the construction works are of a government project and is entrusted to a private company. The same wall behind the building had collapsed ten months ago, damaging the nearby road and not yet repaired yet.
No complaint has been lodged in connection with this incident.
