Moodbidri; Mar 09: Addressing the ‘Two Days National Level Symposium’ on ‘Recent Advances in Chemical Sciences’ held under the auspices of Alva’s college’s post-graduate and degree chemistry department in Vidhyagiri,prof. A.M.A.Khader,convener,Talent Development Centre’s Chemistry said in his address that environment pollution can be controlled, if hydrogen is used as fuel. From this, hydrogen will be born as fuel power in the future. On the first day of the symposium, he spoke about the recent advances in chemical sciences in his capacity as chief speaker.
He added environment will get polluted in petrol and diesel. But if hydrogen is used as fuel power, the environment pollution will come down significantly. Student’s knowledge should not be limited to only on text books but also to evince interest in other studies. The symposiums like this will give new knowledge, diamension, experience and informations.
Prof.Ramesh Shetty, chief professor, Alva’s P.U.College, who presided over the function said in his speech that in all the fields of science significant improvement is being taking place and students must reap the benefits of this improvements, he said.
Rajkumar, HOD of post-graduate chemical science department welcomed the guests, student Sinchana Padival compered the programme and P.U division’s chief Radhika proposed vote of thanks.
