Mangalore : In view of propagating the objectives and ideologies of Aam Aadmi Party among the people of the city and also to popularise the party symbol – The Broom, the Dakshina Kannada unit of Aam Aadmi Party took out a Jaadu Chalavo Yatra along the main roads of the city on Saturday.
This event coincides with the country wide campaign of the party to come closer to the people as the political alternative to India politics.
The Jaadu Yatra began in front of the Mangalore City Corporation and culminated at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, traversing through MG Road, Dongarkeri, Car Street, City Market, Nehru Maidan and RTO Circle.
The party has intensified its activities to promote and create awareness among the people on the objectives of the party. Membership drives have been taken up on large scale across the district and the same continues. On Sunday, party volunteers will be seen at the Panambur Beach to meet the general public and promote the concept of Aam Aadmi Party.
