Karkala; Feb 21: Speaking in the capacity as Chief Guest in inter-collegiate cultural and fine arts festival “Aanandotsava-2014”programme, started in Nitte Technical university on Feb 20, Thursday, Sanjay Sahay, additional Director General of police said in his address that responsibility of making impact on young generation, a man of enlightenment, skilled, competent and ready to face challenges is rest on our shoulder. Since teachers are co-operating for all- round development of the students, the present-day students except desiring for teachers, otherwise they are not teachers, he said.
Another Guest from England’s Itan and Company’s chief managing director and N.Sanjeeth Shetty, an old student of the institution spoke on the occasion.
Dr.Niranjan.N.Chiplunkar, college principal has presided over the function. After considering Vineet Bangera of computer engineering division as best outgoing student and Sukhshit Kumar, Civil Division as best outgoing student in sports were honored. Besides, best outgoing students in variety of categories were also felicitated by presenting prizes sponsored by England Itan Company by N.Sanjeeth Shetty, Chief Director.
By identifying best performer in academic and sports have also been complimented on the occasion.
In the three days Aanandotsava-2014,programme,Antakshari,dance,song,quiz,dumb show,painting,drawing,Mukhavarnike,cartoon creation,essay,Rangoli,debate,clay modeling, flower arrangement, hearth less cooking etc around 26 variety competitions will be held. More than 1000 students from around 45 technical colleges by participating in this cultural festival will exhibit their talents, skills, it said.
