Kundapur: A special significance to ‘Bhagavaraadhane’ in Parashurama Kshetra; Panja Bhaskara Bhat, laksha Modhaka Mahayaga

Kundapur; Feb 19: Addressing the second day of religious meet held as a part of Guddattu Shree Vinayak temple’s birthday festival, laksha modhaka mahayaga and other religious programmes, which is being conducted for the universal good, Vidhwan Panja Bhaskar Bhat, member of Bangalore religious parishat said in his address that amongst all the Pooja’s of God and Goddess, Ganapati Pooja is more significant and superior.

 In rest of the Pooja’s and havan’s, if essence part of liquid like milk or water or any liquid (Good) is only being utilized, in Ganapati Homa apart from Rasabhaga (good) even Kasabhaga (waste/bad) is also being offered in homa.That means devotees, good and bad will be dedicated to God and got the submissive nature to receive whatever He grants as patronage (Prasadham).

In the field of Parashurama,’Bhagavaaradhane’ has got special significance and result. Likewise from the laksha modhaka mahayaga, which is being conducted in Guddattu kshetra, not only Lord Ganesha’s attention will be flown towards devotees, let world’s attention also flow towards this Kshetra, he said.

Dr.H.V.Narasimha Murthy, retired professor of Kundapur Bhandarkars college has presided over the function. As a result of strict adherence to the rules, a law stated in the religious books Guddattu Kshetra has become strong and famous, he opined.

Priest Vedhamurthy G.Raghavendra Adiga after welcoming the gathering, delivered an introductory speech. Teacher Sridhar Bhat hosted the programme.Temple’s hereditary management trustee Vedhamurthy G.Ananthapadmanabha Adiga proposed vote of thanks.

In the religious programme in morning, second day’s laksha modhaka mahayaga, Chaturvedha reading, Aayarkoda seve, Annasantharpane (mass feeding) were held.

In the evening Bhajan programme by Saabarakatte Shiriyara’s GSB Bhajana Mandali, Yadaadi Mathyadi government primary and higher primary school student’s entertainment programmes and Nritya Sinchana programme by students of Kundapur Nrityavasantha Naatyalaya were held.
