25,000 college students to participate in ‘Bharata Gellisi’ convention on Feb 18

Mangalore, Feb 15: Around 25,000 students from various colleges of the city will hold a rally and march towards the Nehru Maidan to participate in BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s ‘Bharata Gellisi’ event to be held on February 18.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Feb 15, Saturday, Chakravarthy Sulibele, mentor, NaMo Brigade said that Narendra Modi has visited the city a couple of times, but this time he will visit Mangalore as a  prime ministerial candidate and would speak on vision for India.

He also said that the students will gather at TV Raman Pai hall and will proceed to the venue in a grand procession, after lunch at 1 pm. The students will be issued with special student identity cards and separate seating arrangements have been made for them.

The programme will highlight the future of the nation and vision for its development and not be political rally. NaMO Brigade in association with ‘India 272 ‘ has started the Digitization of voters’ list, so that every individual can text his EPIC number to 9945999459 and can avail the details of the voting booth, to their mobile.

NAMO Brigade convener Naresh Shenoy was also present.
