Karkala;Feb 13: Inaugurating the 15th district conference of Nitte Rotary club and Nitte-Kemmannu community troop,held in taluk’s Kemmannu Durgaparameshwari temple’s Dr.V.S.Acharya’stage,Dr.N.R.Shetty,former vice chancellor of Bangalore University said in his address that public service institutions like Rotaries should not be limited to cities only but also to be extended to rural region, he said.
In rural region there are plenty of talents and the public service institutions like rotaries should take the lead of providing appropriate platform to such rural talents.
Rotary district governor S.Gururaj has launched the cultural competition. Nitte educational institution’s Dr.M.S. Maadithaya spoke on the occasion.
