Kundapur; Feb 13: Addressing in the valedictory function of BJP’s ‘Door to Door’ campaign organized under the aegis of Byndoor local BJP Samiti on Feb 12, Wednesday at Vandse, former state Chief minister B.S.Yeddyurappa said in his address that our own state’s Mallikarjun Kharge after becoming union railway minister almost 7-8 months have been passed and in this budget what is his contribution to the state? he questioned. Since within few days time, election code of conduct is coming into force, railway budget has got no value even of cowrie, he said.
He further said that ever since congress came to power, it has not selected even one Suvarna village and since 5-6 months state’s development has collapsed. Law and order has completely deteriorated and state’s treasury has become bankrupted. Against the state government’s mis-rule, this time people will vote for BJP and confidently said that a minimum of 20 BJP candidates will win in the ensuing Loka Sabha election, he added.
Shimoga Loka Sabha constituency’s MP B.Y.Raghavendra, former legislator K.Laxminarayana, district BJP president Tingale Vikramarjuna Hegde spoke on the occasion.
B.S.Y was felicitated on the occasion by presenting him a pearl’s garland and adorning him with turban on his head.
