Mangalore, Feb 11: Police arrested two persons on February 10, Monday for provoking untoward incident in Ullal area.
The arrested are Mohammed Shabeer alias Mohammed Kabeer alias Chebbi, a resident of Kotepura, and Abdul Mannan alias Munaf, residing near Barka Factory.
The duo had allegedly entered the houses of fisherwomen in the vicinity of Mogaveerapatna and troubled them, creating tension in the region on February 4 and were absconding since then.
Reportedly, Abdul Mannan is also a suspect in the murder of Kabeer Fish oil mill security guard.
Ullal police have subjected the duo for further interrogation.
