Mangalore, Feb 6: DK district publicity officer B A Khader Shah said that the Department of Information, DK will host a sound-light visual mega-show with a theme ‘Manushya Jati Thanonde Valam’ at Nehru Maidan on February 7, Friday at 7 p.m
Speaking at the press meet held at department office, he said that the aim to hold the sound and light show to create awareness among people on eradicating the existing caste system.
He also said that a total of 150 artistes belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes under the Scheduled Caste and Tribal Sub Plan will he presented directed by noted theatre personality C Basavalingaiah.
The show was inaugurated by chief minister Siddaramaiah in Bangalore and will be presented in Mysore, Madikeri, Chikmagalur, Udupi, Karwar, Belgaum, Bijapur and three other districts, he said.
