Mangalore, Feb 4: A pedestrian has lost his life when a Tata bus chassis rammed into him at Valencia circle on February 4, Tuesday.
The deceased is identified as Mohammed Kunhi (55), hailing from Manjeshwar in Kasargod.
According to the eyewitnesses, the Tata bus chassis ran over Kunhi while he was walking near Valencia circle. Kunhi who fell under the wheels of the bus sustained major injuries and breathed his last while he was taken on the way to hospital.
Kadri traffic police who reached the spot arrested the driver and also seized the bus.
In this regard, a case has been registered in Mangalore east traffic police station.
