Udupi; Jan 16: Addressing the media personnel, Jayan Malpe, district chief convener of Dalit Sangharsh Samiti, said in his address that in the medical report of sexual harassment committed by two drivers of the same school on LKG student of Manipal Madhava Kripa English medium school,’ sexual harassment’ was not confirmed.
He further reiterated that in the report submitted by ‘scientific official’ of Mangalore western zone’s regional law science laboratory’s life science department and Udupi government women and children hospital’s senior medical officer the ‘sexual harassment’ was not confirmed.
Under the circumstance, he fiercely condemned the police, who instead of requesting court of justice to give up entire arraignment list, they threw injustice by charge sheeting them.
The police, who registered a case in connection with sexual torture on minor girl on the basis of the statement given by the 17 staffs of different departments of the school and except the identification of the photos of the accused by the girl, the police failed to mention nowhere in their report about contextual evidence of sexual harassment, he said
Besides, though the mother of the girl, who demanded action against Rajesh.B.Shenoy and Narayana in her complaint to police, it has created a room for suspicion by omitting the names of Rajesh and Naryana in the final police report, which they submitted to the court, he said.
When the massive protest was staged on Augsut 17, last year in front of SPs office by Dalit Sangharsh Samiti and Madhava Kripa English medium school’s parent’s vokkoota demanding the re-investigation of the case, SP Dr.Boralingayya promised that appropriate action will be taken only after receiving medical report. Though entire episode was one fabricated story, the police have failed to provide justice, Jayan criticized.
