Kundapur; Jan 11: It has become horrible situation in Gangolli for the movement of children including people and animals for the past few months due to the increased number of mad dogs, stray street dogs menace.
From Jan 09,Thursday morning, a cow belonging to one of the residents in Doddihithlu has got a fear of madness and was told that few days before one dog has bitten the cow.Sources said that many people have been injured due to the menace of mad cow since Thursday morning.Suspecting that the cow has become mad,the locals tied the cow and then informed the matter to veterinary doctor.The doctor who came to the spot and examined from the distance and said that there is a possibility of getting mad.But doctor has decided that at the moment,no solution for this.
It is also said that one week before,one child in Gangolli was bitten by stray street dog.Due to the incident of cow becoming mad,people have become confused.Besides children including adults are getting frightened for wandering in the surrounding areas.
The villagers have expressed their anger for not taking any action against the increased number of stray street dogs.
