Karkala; Jan 05: Foundation stone laying ceremony of Ajekar Vishwakarma Samaja Seva Sangha’s new Samudhaya Bhavan was held on Jan 05, Sunday.
Karkala legislator V.Sunil Kumar after laying the foundation stone for the construction of new Samudhaya Bhavan near Ajekar, Kaikamba said in his address that for holding the activities of any community, they should possess their own auditorium or office, which is very important. Since Vishwakarma people are hard-working, in the development of the society, role of this community is very prominent.Besides, he also assured of donating Rs 5 lac for the construction of new Samudhaya Bhavan from his region’s development fund.
Chief guests like district panchayat former president Dr.Santhosh Kumar Shetty, Neklage Kalikamba temple’s trustee Sudhakara Acharya, Dharmasthala Grama programme Karkala Vokkoota president Belvai Bhaskara Acharya, Nanda Kumar Hegde were present.
Udupi district Vishwakarma President Alevoor Yogeesh Acharya presided over the function.Keshava Acharya welcomed, Raghavendra Acharya after compering the programme, proposed a vote of thanks.
