Mangalore, Dec 30: The members of District BJP protested in front of DC Office on Dec 30, Monday against the case of kidnap and blackmail of two medical students at Derlakatte.
Addressing the protestors, Srikar Prabhu City Unit president of BJP said that the congress government had struggled hard to imposed goonda act on Hindu activities who fight to preserve the Hindu culture is now sitting with tight lip.
The congress ministers of the region have not demanded to take stringent action against the culprits involved in such shameful act.
He also criticized the commission who visited city during the Home stay attack and Pub attack for remaining silent and not raising any voice against the incident.
The government is implementing various schemes including ‘shadi bhagya’ to appease the minorities and now this incident has given the clear picture of their mindset, he said.
Srikar urged the government to direct the officials to take stringent action against the culprits to maintain its respect, he said.
MLC Monappa Bhandary, former MLA N Yogesh Bhat, Ravishankar Mijar, Capt Brijesh and others were present.
