Karkala; Dec 25: The accused grandson, in the murder of his grandfather with wooden stick for advising, has been arrested by rural SI.
Renjala Ravi Jain was the man, who was arrested. Grandfather Nemiraja Poovani had advised Ravi Jain, who was just eating and wandering like a goonda.
Enraged Ravi Jain, as he came to home on Dec 21, at 8.30 pm, hit Nemiraja Poovani’s head with wooden stick in the court yard. At the same, he also attacked his aunt and injured her. Severely injured Nemiraja Poovani was taken to Mangalore A.J.Hospital and breathed his last as he did not respond to the treatment. Now police have arrested the accused and he is under judicial custody.
