April 13 and 14: “Vision-2013 and Saanidhya Utsav” by ‘Saanidhya’ school for differently abled

Mangalore, April 13:It is very difficult to anticipate the result of our expectation  in differently abled children due to the  deficiency of concentration and memory in them .

Speaking to the media persons in the press meet held on April 12, Friday Vasanth Shetty-Director of the school said by motivating and imparting a easy way of learning even differently abled children can be brought in to the mainstream after identifying their ability of learning, field in which field he/she is interested and there is no doubt that hidden talents of these children can be highlighted/exhibited

After studying carefully the problems faced due to lack of Residential School for Differently abled in villages,”Saanidhya” was started in the year 2003 by Shree Ganesha Seva Trust for exceptional persons (R).

Ever since its inception, every year school has been organizing  “Vision” and Arts and house made items exhibition programmes in order to encourage the differently abled children. Our Main purpose of holding these type of programmes, is to identify and bring out their hidden talents in children, thereby bringing them to the main stream of the society, he said.

The school management has arranged “Vision -2013” on April 13 and April 14 (Saturday and Sunday) respectively at Kadri Udyan, Mangalore.

Shri Prabhakar Rao-Director, Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers (MCF) will inaugurate the exhibition at 5.30 P.M in the evening, Major B.Vijay Kumar –Principal, Women’s Polytechnic College, will light the lamp and Shree Divakar shetty-Public relation Manager will be the chief guest, as reported.

Keeping in mind the children’s talents and interest in cultural activities “Saanidhya Utsav”will be  organized on April 14,2013 at’ Kadri Udhyan’ .Fr.Walter D’Souza Priest-Devamatha Church,Shakti Nagar,will inaugurate this festival at 5.30 in the evening and grace the occasion. Rotarian Krishna Shetty-former governor of Rotary district 3180, will preside over the function.

It has also been reported that Harish Sherigar-MD,M/s.ACME building Materials Trading,Dubai and ACME Vision(www.Gulfkannadiga.com and www.kannadigaworld.com)  has kindly consented to be the Guest of honour  on this occasion.

Shree Harish Rai -Dakshina Kannada Journalists Association, Shree Ramakrishna R-President, Mangalore Press Club, Sreemathi pramodha Shetty-President, Karnad Memorial Trust, and Sreemathi Sumathi Pangala will be attending the programme as chief guests.

Besides, National award winner Kumari Anjana Devi and National Paralympics award winner Kumari Madhushree will be felicitated on this occasion, it said.

“A Mathematic book “Specially designed and written by Vasanth Kumar Shetty for differently abled children will unveil on this occasion, it has been reported.

First time in the history of the school a Yakshagana named “Gurudhakshine”,directed and choreographed by experienced Yakshagana exponent Sharath Kumar, Kadri will be played on this occasion and a historical drama called “Matsara” along with dances, songs and other cultural activities have been organized for the day.

Jagadish Shetty-Treasurer, Nanda Kumar-Director D Rao-Vice President, and Basheer were present in the meet.
