Mangalore, Dec 25: The members of VHP and Bajrang Dal organized a protest in front of DC Office on Tuesday, Dec 24 demanding CBI probe into the kidnap, rape, and blackmail of a student of Deralakatte Medical College student.
Addressing the protestors, Jagadish Shenava of Vishwa Hindhu Parishat said that after the incident, the Konaje police have arrested all the culprits within 11 hours and without conducting any enquiry, they were produced before the court. This decision was just taken after some of the elected representatives of state government pressurized the department.
He also condemned various organizations which staged huge protest and rally demanding justice during the time of home stay attack. But now, no organization is coming front and raising their voice against the incident occurred to the innocent girl where she was kidnapped and was forced into sex with a male friend.
He also urged the police department to hand over the case to CID to provide justice to the innocent girl.
Jithendra Kottary, Shivananda Mendon, Sharan Pumpwell, Gopal Kuthar, and others were present.
