Karkala; Dec 23: An incident of killing grandfather by his own grandson for trivial reason by hitting with wooden stick in a fit of rage was reported in Renjala village of Karkala taluk recently.
Nemiraja Poovani, aged 80, a resident of Renjala Dasarabettu, was the unfortunate man, who died and his grandson Ravi Jain, aged 30, was the man, who was accused of murder.
According to the sources, Ravi Jain was the eldest son of the eldest son of Nemiraj Poovani was staying in Belgaum.Currently; his parents are also living there. In between lazy Ravi Jain was not working anywhere. Of late, he started attempting theft, robbery and was beaten by public many times.
Understanding the facts of Ravi Jain, Nemiraj Poovani was deeply pained inside. Ravi Jain, who came to native place two months ago, used to pick up quarrel for petty issues. It was on that fateful day of Saturday morning, Nemiraj Poovani advised Ravi Jain to work decently, honestly and to live like a cultured man. Upon listening the advice of grandfather, enraged Ravi Jain attacked his grandfather with wooden stick and killed.
