Mangalore, April 12: The election office of Mangalore South, Congress Candidate J.R.Lobo-was opened at Kadri on April 11, Thursday in the presence of several party leaders and religious heads of different faiths.
JR Lobo, the party candidate from Mangalore South, P V Mohand, M A Masood, Sabitha Misquith and Naveen D’souza and religious heads such as Satyakrishna Bhat, Chief Trustee of Radhakrishna Temple, Fr.Elias D’Souza, Director of Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnekatte and Sadaqatulla Faizi of Jumma Masjid,Bunder blessed the occasion.
It was funny to note on the occasion that many of the supports of Ivan D’Souza who had vehemently protested against the candidature of JR Lobo including former mayor Ashraf have decided to back JR Lobo in a surprising move. It is reported that all of them have tendered an unconditional apology.
It has been reported that Congress candidate JR Lobo has already started his door-to door campaign.
