Karkala; Dec 16: An incident of assault on wife by suspicious husband on her character was reported in Ajekaru of Karkala taluk recently.Ashraf was the man, who attacked his wife Shameena.Ashraf got married with shameena ten years ago and 20 pawn gold was given to Ashraf by Shameena’s family members at the time of their marriage. As he was facing financial constraints both in his family and business, he has sold all the gold and started picking up quarrel daily with wife, as stated in the complaint.
The victim of the attack Shammena was admitted in Karkala government hospital.
Shameena has lodged a complaint against her husband Ashraf in Ajekaru police station.
